Food for Gaza : A Global Effort to End Hunger

Hi, Sahabat Inisiator. Throughout 2025, Human Initiative delivered humanitarian assistance to 637,423 rights holders through 33 programs, supported by 4,083 humanitarian volunteers across 2,176 coverage locations in Indonesia. This reach was made possible through collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including government at various levels, academic institutions, practitioners, private sector partners, local organizations, and Dear Initiators who consistently helped ensure aid arrived in a dignified and timely manner.

In terms of program distribution, the largest reach came from the Qurban Distribution Program, serving 203,572 rights holders. Other key pillars included Initiative for Children reaching 219,998 rights holders, Initiative for Disaster Risk Management reaching 148,901, Initiative for Infrastructure reaching 42,716, and Initiative for Empowerment reaching 22,236. These figures reflect Human Initiative’s balanced focus across protection, resilience, and long term recovery efforts, with data updated as of 23 December 2025.

Beyond implementation, 2025 also marked program strengthening to ensure delivery became more structured, transparent, and sustainable through a partnership based approach, including Human Initiative’s role as a Grant Making Organization and ecosystem builder. With this foundation, Human Initiative is prepared to continue humanitarian collaboration into 2026, expanding access to more dignified living conditions and ensuring communities are supported not only in crisis response but also in recovery and long term development.

On September 7, 2025, Human Initiative carried out the Hot Meal for Gaza project to bring urgent relief to families in the Gaza Strip. In this critical situation, where access to basic needs remains severely limited, we were only able to distribute emergency aid, primarily food and clean water.

Through this project, hot, nutritious meals reached up to 300 people, including children, parents, and the elderly who continue to face uncertainty and hardship every day. Even with restrictions, your support ensured that hunger was eased and dignity was preserved, one meal at a time.
