For the last 8 years, we delivered food items to our students who were widows and fed 100 people per day during the month of Ramadan. Due to the current economic situation, we have expanded our program to provide food to 150 of the most destitute families during the month of Ramadan. The project will aim to provide daily food to 1000 individuals, who are facing extreme economic hardship due to the ongoing conflict and economic crisis in the country.
Afghanistan is facing an economic crisis and an ongoing conflict that has left many families in poverty and struggling to meet their basic needs. Many families are unable to afford food, which has resulted in malnutrition, hunger, and even starvation.
The "Ramadan Food Distribution" project by AAFE aims to provide food assistance to 150 of the most destitute families in Afghanistan during the month of Ramadan. The project will distribute daily food to 1000 individuals, including women and children, who are facing severe economic hardship. The project will provide daily meals for the families who might otherwise go hungry or have only bread and tea to break the fast.
The project will help alleviate the immediate hunger and malnutrition of the most vulnerable families during the month of Ramadan. The project will also contribute to building the resilience of the beneficiaries and their families by ensuring they have access to essential food items.
