Food baskets to 50.000 needy families in Colombia!

Throughout 2026, solidarity has continued to turn into food and better nutrition for thousands of people across Colombia. Thanks to the commitment of our donors and partners, the Bogotá Food Bank continues to strengthen a network that works every day to ensure that more food reaches those who need it most.

So far this year, we have distributed more than 17,349 tons of food through 1,122 social organizations, reaching children, families, older adults, and communities facing vulnerability and food insecurity.

This work has been especially important during a year in which several emergencies have increased the needs of communities across the country. While continuing our daily work to fight hunger, we have also strengthened our capacity to respond quickly and bring food and hope to people facing particularly difficult circumstances.

Behind every ton of food delivered are local organizations that understand their communities, partners who trust our work, and donors whose generosity keeps this chain of solidarity moving forward.

Our commitment is to ensure that every contribution translates into real impact. Transparency and efficiency guide our work, allowing us to strengthen our network and respond where the need is greatest.
