For families across Syria, a food basket can mean something very simple—but incredibly important: knowing there will be food on the table tomorrow.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, our team has continued distributing food baskets to vulnerable families in several areas across Syria, helping households facing displacement, unemployment, illness, and the rising cost of basic necessities.
Each basket contains essential staples such as flour, rice, bulgur, sugar, cooking oil, chickpeas, beans, and pasta—enough to help support an average family for up to four weeks.
But this project is not only about food.
It is about easing the pressure on a widowed mother who does not know how she will feed her children. It is about supporting an elderly person with no source of income. It is about giving a displaced family one less burden to carry.
Our teams prioritize families facing the greatest hardship, including displaced households, widows, elderly people, and families caring for sick members who are unable to work. Distributions are organized carefully within local communities to ensure that assistance reaches those who need it most.
To every donor who made this possible: thank you.
Your contribution became flour, rice, oil, and other essentials—but more importantly, it became relief, dignity, and reassurance for families who have endured years of hardship.
Every basket delivered is a reminder to a family in Syria that they have not been forgotten.
With your continued support, we hope to reach even more families in the coming period and help ensure that fewer households are forced to face hunger alone.
