Flooding Devastate Communities in Southern Nigeria

The severe flooding that devastated communities in Southern Nigeria has displaced thousands of residents, destroyed properties, and rendered many communities uninhabitable. In response to this dire humanitarian situation, the Divine Act Charitable Trust (DACT) undertook a critical visit to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp located in Gwada, Shiroro Local Government Area, Niger State. This report highlights the visit, documents DACT's activities, evaluates the situation in the camp, and proposes recommendations for long-term solutions to address the ongoing crisis.

Relief distribution activities carried out by the Divine Act Charitable Trust (DACT) at the Gwada IDP camp were designed to address the immediate needs of the displaced individuals and alleviate their suffering.
