Flash Floods in McDowell County, West Virginia, have effected Children Incorporated sponsor children and their families. Many families will need food and flood relief help (cleaning supplies, bleach, trash bags, rubber gloves, etc.) Donations to Children Incorporated through Global Giving will help: 1. In early June 2014, flash floods caused damage to McDowell County, West Virginia where Children Incorporated supports sponsor children and their families. Water damages cars, houses, and road ways, leaving families in need of cleaning supplies, food, and assistance with repairing their homes. Immediate assistance is needed so families can repair damage before it is permanent.
Donating to the Flood Relief in McDowell County, West Virginia project will help families who are in need of emergency disaster assistance immediately. Families that already struggle are having to focus on repairing damages done to their homes and are in need of relief aid. Children attending summer school in the area are also in need of food.
