Report on Flood Relief Appeal Pakistan 2025

By Yaqoob Masih | Project Leader

Introduction

Heavy monsoon rains and floods in different parts of Pakistan during 2025 have badly affected poor families, daily wage workers, women, children, and vulnerable communities. Many people have lost their homes, household items, livestock, food supplies, and access to clean drinking water. Children are suffering from hunger, disease, and interruption in education.

In response to this emergency, our organization plans to provide immediate humanitarian assistance and support to flood-affected families through local resources and external funding support.

Objective

The main objective of this appeal is to provide emergency relief and early recovery support to the affected families in flood-hit areas of Pakistan.

Planned Relief Activities

With available funding and small local contributions, we plan to carry out the following activities:

Distribution of food packages for affected families.

Provision of clean drinking water and hygiene kits.

Rehabilitation support for the most vulnerable families.

Working Through Local Funds

Our organization believes that even small local contributions can make a meaningful impact during emergencies. We plan to mobilize:

Local churches and community groups

Volunteers and youth groups

Individual donors and well-wishers

Local businesses and philanthropists

These local funds will help us start immediate relief work while waiting for larger donor support.

Need for External Funding

Due to the large scale of destruction, local resources alone are not enough. Therefore, we are appealing to national and international donors, partner organizations, and humanitarian agencies for financial support to expand relief activities and reach more affected families.

Conclusion

The flood situation in Pakistan requires urgent humanitarian response and solidarity. Through partnership, local participation, and donor support, we hope to bring relief, dignity, and hope to affected communities during this difficult time.

Together, we can support vulnerable families and help them recover from this disaster.

With gratitude and hope.
