The situation in the Valley of the Taquari River and Rio Pardo River continues to be worrying. In many places the water receded, and it was time to count both human and material losses.
Countless numbers of people continue to remove mud from their houses and the authorities began to study and carry out the repair of the roads. It will be a job of many months and extremely expensive, because the problem now is about the geophysics: landslides, faults and openings in the earth.
We continue to focus on the emergy needs of people. We are providing them blankets and hygiene products, but at the same time we are strong on our work: rebuilding the homes of those who lost all.
