Let's help each other restore houses and schools in Chiang Rai Province
As many communities and schools remain submerged in mud from severe floodingCCF office in Chieng Rai Province accelerated the integration of volunteer networks and volunteers in communities to go to flooded areas to provide support and encouragement to those affected. They were ready to help and clean people's houses urgently to prevent the soil from drying out, which will make cleaning more difficult. CCF was ready to deliver relief bags, food and drinking water to those affected by the flood disaster and set up a shelter, kitchen to support the people to relieve their suffering.
Even though the water level is low at the disaster shelter, CCF continuedto provide assistance because there were still early children, elderly people, elderly Bedridden patients who were staying in shelters. Even though the water level has receded, people were still unable to return to their homes for safety reasons. The next plan is to restore the houses so that the victims can live a normal life after the water recedes.
