DISASTER & MOCK DRILL TRAINING: Since the creation of earth, disasters are happening in unexpected manner it is considered as a usual one. Such disasters are common in our nation India and especially in our Tamil Nadu State. Flood disaster was occurred. Following that many changes in the climate were found. Now the summer season is running. As soon as the summer season is begun so here is a situation of thinking about the dryness and drought. We only think about the heat, dryness, draught etc. Even though many people experienced the great dangers, risks and major disaster already, still they are not in the prepared condition. When any disaster is met by such people they still expect ‘’Will anybody come to help us?’’ Why still this situation is is found? Main reason for this problem, being found is doing have Fore warning Awareness. Hence in Chennai during the last Flood disaster programme poor, rich, educated, illiterate and everybody was not prepared and were in panic condition. Everybody was in disasters. The main problem is they did not prepare themselves to face the disaster. During the last flood of a Flat every educated and rich person asked the community to help them in providing food and water. They were requesting earnestly for a long time to help them in that condition of loneliness, being surrounded with rain flood. It was evidently seen at many places of Chennai. At the same time as young man who knows about the disaster management Awareness was very careful about recovering his family members from the rain flood disaster. Before the rain flood comes he was collecting the fore portion along with the outer, hard coat. He also had some number of empty tender coconut shells. When the rain flood came that young man those materials with help of a big needle and thin ropes when it was thrown upon water it floated upon water. That is why he able to protect his aged family members, wife and children etc. During the disaster times we can utilize some articles as our protective measure. They would be very helpful. Some materials we use for our domestic purpose are very useful some articles we use in our daily work such as water canes, kerosene cans are also keep it waste and thrown away some times. They must be kept in storage. When the canes are closed with cap, they would float up on water. If we join thro or there plastic canes together a man weighs 60kg can easily float with out others help. Also we can use old types and tables joined together to protect ourselves during the flood time. Such plastic and rubber equipments would be helpful to protect our selves during the time of disaster. This mock drill training was clearly dealt by the Global Giving aided Staff team at Thidir nagar Chennai.
