DEFECTS BEING MADE BY DISASTER:
Commonly people would be in great distress when they meet the disaster without any expectation and they don’t hear any fore warning these defects are very extreme to them. During such times people must be in the prepared condition. They only they can protect themselves and they can reduce the losses to some extent. At first we must know earlier that aged people, patients, Differently abled persons, Children are living where? All people living there also must know these people and where they are living. Then only we can move these people to the protected places. Every body in this location must know about the protected places and camps for the accommodation of victims through Govt. officials. In addition to this youth and women Self Help Groups must know about the Mobile phone numbers of important official like V.A.O, R.I, Tahsildar, and President of the Disaster Recovery Team. People in the village and the Recovery Team especially youth must always watch the announcements regarding the Disaster Management by Govt. officials carefully. Then only they can know about the Climate changes, Time of rainfall, Measurement of rainfall, Cyclones, Tremors, and Tsunami etc. Those who know about these occurrences they must inform the same to everybody there. During the occurrence of the disaster at first we must cut off the electricity connection. We must take torch light or match Box and candle with us. Not only from our house but also the aged people, patients, Alternative skilled people, Children must be taken to the protected Govt. camps. When rain, Thunder or lightning is found we shall not stand under the green tree.
FIRST AID TREATMENT:
Even though we all necessary arrangements for the people, if any defect is found due to the disaster we can do the First Aid help to the injured persons. At first we must make a phone call to 108 Ambulance and give the correct address. Also we must give same identification marks about our place by mentioning the nearby building Community Centre, VAO office, School, Temples or Church at the nearby areas. If a person is found fractured at Hand or leg we can help him until the Ambulance arrives there. We must take two flat wooden planks and keep them on both the sides of the fractured bone and make the bandage. It would help the person to bear the pain to some extent. For the bandage we can use any towel or saree or shawl. This long cloth can be tied like a cradle so the affected person would feel lesser pain. If the Ambulance is unable to come to the area of the injured person we can carry the injured person with the help of a stretcher like form which can be made with the help of a bed sheet or carpet. It would be much helpful for the victim it was also demonstrated practically. Also the disaster affected person can be moved to other places by keeping the sole of the disaster affected persons sole and walk gently. Now the affected person would feel better. It was demonstrated practically also before the particularly before the participants of the Training Programme. All participants of the Training Programme learned the Disaster Management Training Programme with much interest and zeal.
