REPORT TITLE: ISSUE OF CERTIFICATES TO OUR LIVELIHOOD TRAINEES
PROJECT TITLE: FLOOD DISASTER RESPONSE AT TAMIL NADU, S. INDIA
PRESIDENT SHIP: PROFESSOR DR. KATHIREASAN, DEAN, FACULTY OF MARINE SCIENCES, ANNAMALAI UNVERSITY
IN THE PRESENCE OF: KAVITHA MATHEW, NATIONAL CONSULTANT GLOBAL GIVING
Due to the Rain Flood occurred in Tamil Nadu during the year 2015 Schedule Caste, fisher women of Parangipettai Town Panchayat is the most affected area. As an Alternative Livelihood Programme, Mushroom Culture Entrepreneurship Training Programme was already convened through the organizations Global Giving and Chevalier Roche Society at Annamalai University, C.A.S in Marine Biology, Parangipettai. For the women trained in this training programme certificates were delivered by Dr. Kathiresan, Dean, Faculty of Marine Sciences, Annamalai university in the presence of Kavitha Mathew National Consultant, Global Giving Professors Dr. Kalai Selvan, Miss. Elizabeth Volunteer, Global Giving London and Prof. Dr. Seenivasan Mr. A. Dhamotharan, Project Manager, Chevalier Roche Society and Mr. Arputhakumar, Co-ordinator Chevalier Roche Society participated and delivered the appreciate speeches.

Miss. Kavitha Matthew – National Consultant Global Giving
Global Giving International is doing various types of Services by the helps of the good hearted people in the whole world to the people in the Disaster affected areas.
1) In this area we are doing the Disaster Management Service through the organization Chevalier Roche Society.
2) I convey my heartfelt thanks for the Mushroom Culture Training offered along with us to do the social Service like these to the women affected by the Disaster occurred in these areas. I thank Annamalai Marine Biology University for the Training provided to the Disaster affected women.
3) Everybody must come forward to help the disaster affected people and those who are poor in Social & Economic status and to do the social services.
4) Those women who are doing Self Entrepreneurship and get a small amount of monthly income must give importance to their Children education.
5) Those who do the self Entrepreneurship and those who were well educated and come to a good position must help others tomorrow.

1) Since the time of cyclone Thane Hit with the co-operation of the organization Global Giving International our organization is doing the service of Disaster Management Disaster Recovery and reconstruction work etc.
2) By money donated by good hearted and kind people along with the unity of the organization Global Giving, we are providing Disaster Management Awareness Training Programmes and the Entrepreneurship Training Programme like these.
3) How far the protection of people is important likewise the Education and Economic status are like two eyes for women.
4) Women belong to the Cuddalore district is very low in Education, Public Health, Industrialism and Economic Condition may learn the Self Entrepreneurship like this and begin their own Entrepreneurship, so that they can stand on their own legs. Nobody shall depend upon others.
5) Through the Self other Entrepreneurship only women can attain a good economic status. And by the women’s education only a nation grow up to a flourishing condition.
6) I convey my hearty congratulations on behalf of our organization Chevalier Roche Society to the organization Global Giving who were helpful to provide Training Programme and Annamalai Marine Biology University which provided the Training for the Women in the disaster affected areas. Miss. Elizabeth, Volunteer, Global Giving London had a nice conservation with the trained women. She participated in this programme as the special Guest. After this Dr. Kathiresan, Dean, Annamalai University, C.A.S in Marine Biology and Miss. Kavitha Mathew, consultant, Global Giving issued the certificates to the trained women. Finally Prof. Dr. Seenivasan delivered the Vote of Thanks and the function came to an end successfully.
