Recovery Drive

By Michelle Joy | Project Leader

Dear Friends,

Development Alert is on a critical mission to support 400 disaster victims across Uganda who have been affected by floods, storms, landslides, and other emergencies. These disasters continue to displace families, destroy homes, disrupt livelihoods, and leave many vulnerable communities in urgent need of assistance.

In times of crisis, access to timely relief and recovery support is essential. Many of the affected households are struggling to meet basic needs such as food, shelter, clean water, and healthcare. Without immediate intervention, the impacts of these disasters deepen poverty and increase vulnerability among already at-risk populations.

Through this initiative, Development Alert aims to provide emergency and recovery support to 400 disaster-affected individuals and families across different regions of Uganda. Our response focuses on restoring dignity, stability, and hope for those whose lives have been disrupted.

Key Areas of Support

  • Emergency relief assistance including food and basic supplies
  • Access to clean water and sanitation support
  • Temporary shelter and essential household items
  • Basic healthcare and psychosocial support
  • Early recovery assistance to help families rebuild livelihoods

We cannot achieve this mission alone.

We invite you to join us on this journey to stand with disaster-affected communities across Uganda. Your support will make a direct difference in helping families recover, rebuild, and regain stability after crisis.

Together, we can respond with compassion and action-ensuring that no one is left behind in times of disaster. Every contribution brings hope to a family in need and strengthens resilience for the future.

Join us in this mission to support 400 disaster victims across Uganda.
