Fix Fashion: Information is Power

We can't thank you enough for supporting our #FixFashion transparency campaign and we are so pleased to announce that we have reached our initial funding target. Thank you! We are still in the early planning phases with a lot of the groundwork being put into place, but we are making progress and we'd love to share this with you. 

Brands

We, along with the Clean Clothes Campaign network, are working closely with brands to identify their current codes of conduct and responsibilities around transparency. Once we have the information we need, we will then be able to tailor our demands so that we can campaign effectively for workers. We expect to provide a further update in April with a list of brands we will be publicly targeting, and hope you will be getting involved when this is released.

Activist training

In October we held our first activist training event with 17 participants. Labour Behind the Label trained these activists on how to get active within their communities and apply pressure on brands in their own towns and cities across the UK. These activists have since been engaging with store managers and feeding back their responses to LBL so we can keep track of which brands are taking the demands of this campaign seriously.
