I would like to thank everyone for your donations on Mandea day.
Ipeleng's dream and aspirations of raising awareness for the disabled children, inspiring everyone with his determination and more importantly running for more than himself - fundraising for the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund was a success.
The Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund is the advocate of the marginalised citizens specifically children and the disabled, hence we support Ipeleng and his cause.
We unfortunately did not meet our target to make a meaningful impact to the Nelson Mandela Childr's Fund's programs but every contribution goes a long way to contribute towards the greater goal.
The money raised by Ipeleng was used towards the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund youth leadership development program which took plave on the 11 July 2018 - Nelson Mandela Children's Fund - Youth Summit. (see link below)

“One of the way we can build a better future for our children is by empowering them through allowing them to speak up for themselves. Of course, we as adults have to guide them and to take the ultimate responsibility but that is something quite different from patronising them. The rights of children must, importantly, include the right to be themselves and to talk for themselves.” (Nelson Mandela, November 2003)
The Youth Summit was a true reflection of the above quote by Nelson Mandela.
Below are some links with comments of the people he inspired on the road also attached are some pics and videos of this campaign.

“After 90 years of life, it is time for new hands to lift the burdens. It is in your hands now.” Nelson Mandela at his 90th birthday.
