The people of Tennessee, Do Your Part, and its partners wish to thank you for your help especially during the holidays when so much money goes out on family get-togethers. It is special to all of us that your hearts were open to those in a time of need. So much was able to be accomplished during the worst of times and the survivors were amazing as they pulled together with the knowledge that people like you were reaching out to them and they reached out to each other.
Shelter was supplied, and people were feed through the holidays and into the New Year. Gift giving and Holiday Parties were held with the help of Toy for Tots, Dolly Parton World, and the people themselves. The pictures will show the distribution center, although the pictures show few people at the time of the picture; it was much different at the height of activity there were so many survivors needing assistance no one had time to take pictures, we do apologize.
