Fundación Bomberos de Argentina continues to work on the Firefighters Against Cancer campaign, promoting good practices to reduce contact with carcinogenic agents.
Firefighters, due to their professional development, are frequently exposed to carcinogenic or polluting particles. For this reason, one of the most important healthy behaviours is to establish processes for cleaning and caring for their Personal Protective Equipment.
We work together with companies that provide training on equipment decontamination, cleaning and disinfection of mobile units, among others.
Our campaign strengthens prevention, training and awareness of cancer, both in the community and among firefighters.
From the Tienda Solidaria we promote cancer-themed items that help us to make the campaign visible and that the community accompanies us with their support in order to continue growing.
