This project will provide direct emergency relief to families affected by the recent Attica wildfires in Greece, by providing the means for volunteers to continue carrying out their physical work of rehabilitating fire damaged homes. Support to these families who have lost their homes and possessions is critical in helping to rebuild their lives.
Reportedly the 2nd worst wildfires to ever be recorded in history, the area of Attica in Greece has been severely affected. Fires affecting Attica have killed almost 100 people and hospitalized a further 180. Families in Attica have lost their homes and all their possessions in these wildfires and many families have been left with little hope or means to rebuild their lives. Jafra Foundation volunteers will work directly with affected families to clean, repair and help rebuild fire damaged homes
Jafra Foundation will provide direct hands-on assistance to affected homes and families in order to help rebuild homes of people who have been left with nothing.
The project will rehabilitate homes and allow families to begin to rebuild their lives.
