Help us complete the second floor of our school in Egbe, Nigeria and open high school education to the wider community. This expansion will include a science laboratory required for accreditation and will allow over 100 new students to access quality education and future opportunities.
While the first floor of our school is complete and already serving students, the lack of a finished second floor and science laboratory prevents us from receiving full accreditation. Without accreditation, our high school cannot officially open to the broader community. Currently, only children supported through C.A.R.E. Africa are able to attend classes, and even they must partner with another school to sit for exams. This limits access to education for many students in Egbe.
This project will fund the completion of the second floor of the school, including the construction and equipping of a science laboratory, classroom furnishing, and final preparations needed for accreditation. Once completed, the school will meet the requirements to officially operate as a full high school open to the community. This will remove barriers and create access for many more students to receive a quality education close to home.
Completing the school will open doors for over 100 additional students each year, giving them access to education, graduation opportunities, and pathways to higher learning. This project will strengthen the educational foundation of the entire community by increasing literacy, expanding career opportunities, and empowering young people to build better futures. Over time, the school will become a lasting center of learning, growth, and opportunity for generations to come.
