Financial Sponsorship for Children in Need

Within the scope of the Financial Sponsorship for Children in Need project, YEÇED continues to provide regular financial support to vulnerable children and their families in Türkiye, primarily in needy areas and among refugee communities. Children supported through this project are identified through field visits conducted by YEÇED’s social worker team, ensuring that assistance reaches families with the greatest need. Ongoing financial support has helped families meet essential needs and maintain stability, allowing children to continue their education and daily routines without interruption.

In addition to financial assistance, the project includes follow-up visits and monitoring of children’s social and educational well-being. This approach helps reduce the risk of child labor and supports children’s continued access to education in a safe and protective environment. Families report improved resilience and a greater ability to support their children’s development, while children benefit from increased stability and equal opportunities alongside their peers. Through sustained support and close monitoring, the project contributes to long-term social inclusion and helps prevent the negative effects of poverty on children’s futures.

Through regular monthly contributions, the project provides critical financial support to children identified by our dedicated social workers as being in acute need. Thanks to this support:

• Families are relieved of the financial burden that threatens to destabilize the household,

• Basic needs such as food, clothing, hygiene, and school supplies are met,

• Children are able to grow up in safe, stable, and nurturing environments.
