After almost two years of beginning our trainings to reach women in order to train them with our "Women for development" contents, we feel happy for the results obtained. Although donations have not been significant amounts and there is yet a long way to go for the goal established when we submit the project, these have served us to achieve two women cohorts and being able to produce materials for some more. Some of them were already empirically producing their products or services, but also losing. They did not know how to calculate a prudent profit of their sales for their product or services obviously obtaining poor results. Some other did not believe in their capacities while others had a very low self-esteem or did not recognize their potential to succeed. They had been living as a shadow of their couples.
This has been a training not only for them but also for the few of our team who have been involved in this process, for the university Administrators or ccounters to be, who have supported our "break even point" "cost structure" or "social networks" chapters within the contents taugth.
Although political events continue to affect our possibilities to gain spaces with some municipalities, we still look forward for new agreements in order to advance with the trainings. We hope to initiate 2017 with a new cohort on the third week of January to reach a group of 20 women.
Thanking our donors for believing in our project, we still are confident in reaching our goal in the month to come.
