The Challenges left behind by Ebola

By VAAFD TEAM | Executive Director

We want to appreciate all of your supporters and the Globalgiving entire for their support and generosity toward the future of the people of Liberia. We recognize your care, love and concern. West Africa came to a cross road and everything begin unmovable and there was nowhere to run every country shout down their embassy and there was no way for anyone to leave from any of the three West African countries to travel. The three countries well been stigmatized to the point their nationals were not even to leave the three countries when the Ebola outbreak took place but there were people who knew that all human were the same and  they had the right to live and these people stood by us and made sure that this epidemic be rather a history not present. We give you the greatest honor for your love and care you showed during this critical time.

Ms. Princess and Prince were are victims of this Ebola epidemic; their mother and father died as the result of Ebola epidemic in September 2014 leaving behind Princess and her Siblings. They now live with their aunty Rebecca who is unemployed; we discovered these kids through a man called Sam and we did our background investigation through the Bong County’s health team and it was confirmed. Princess Vero is 16 years of age and she is a grade 8th students and they attend the phebe Lutheran community High School in Suakoko Bong County. She wants to become a medical Doctor in the future to be able to help her family, her community, Liberia and the world at large. Prince, one of the sibling of Princess is also hoping to study Biology in order for him to be able to know disease control and prevention help people Liberia. These entire dreams will not be realized if there is no one cares therefore we want to plead with you to continue to support these kids so that they will have their educational goal met. We are happy that gives us the opportunity to provide educational and other support to these by donating to our project.

They are two family and they are nine in number we were about to take care of their education through your donations made to our project.

Again, we want to use this opportunity to appreciate Globalgiving and all of our donors for the continue help to these kids future.
