As a big portion of population knows, brain development needs special materials to run properly: glucose, vitamins, minerals and other essential chemicals. If this complete menu is not delivered on time, brain and the central nervous system are exposed to high danger.
It is a Local community probleam, with a local community solution.
We are working with six Conin Centers, the Child Undernourishment Prevention and Human Promotion Center that are part of the “Red Conin” and follows its methodology to address the problem. Its aim is to take care of the attention, education and assistance of children between 0 to 5 years old with nutritional and social risk. We also work with pregnant women at risk of giving low birth weight children.
During this period, we could observe positive changes in the children´s physical and mental development and in nutritional habits. Also we could identify changes in families under program.
We are happy because we are working during 2015 with more than 10000 children and their family
Thanks a lot for your help!
We could do a lot but we still need your help!
