The situation is truly alarming in Goma, particularly in quarter Mugunga. According to available information, malnutrition is severely affecting children in the region, with an alarming rate of 72 of children affected in some areas, such as Mugunga

Reduction in the prevalence of acute malnutrition. Improvement in children's nutritional status Strengthening of local community capacities

Long-Term Impact

Screening and treatment of malnourished children Raising awareness among mothers and grandmothers about good nutrition and hygiene practices. Training of health workers and community health workers. Distribution of ready-to-use therapeutic foods (RUTF)
