Ebola outbreak has happened in Eastern Congo. Our organisation is at the border of the Democratic republic of Congo and Uganda. Just 1.5 miles from the border. Our community people have gardens in east congo, travel by foot to do cross border businesses , and agriculture activities, This has created a high risk of the virus to cross to uganda. so far, many people are in our community are victims. We plan to provide our community with information on standard operating procedures, and materials
The Ebola out break is possing a very high risk to our community that is just 1.5 miles from the easter border of uganda and the democratic republic of congo. The people in our area cross to congo by foot , and return on a daily basis. They do business, and do agriculture work. equally the people in the Ebola infested eastern congo cross to uganda for trade. This has made ebola to spread from Eastern Congo to our area. If efforts are not put in place, we would see Ebola victimising our community
By letting the community people know the standard operating procedures, and have materials like soap, sanitizers , hand washing facilities in public places....
