This project seeks to help farmers extract maximum value from agricultural productivity in Cote d'Ivoire by providing them with fertilizers.
There is a growing global concern about the challenges agricultural and food production need to address in the coming decades. The Ivorian's population is increasing with many at risk of hunger and arable land is becoming increasingly scarce. Farmers suffer the most from a lack of investment and low household incomes and livelihoods. NIDE will provide them with fertilizers and training to improve value from agricultural productivity.
Providing fertilizers for 200 smallholder farmers, value chain awareness and training on farmers' rights, and environmental education for smallholder farmers. NIDE draws smallholder farmers into a world of data-driven agriculture.
The project will educate and help 200 smallholder farmers access fertilizers allowing them to improve value from agricultural productivity, which will raise household incomes and well-being.
