Dear Supporter,
Thank you for standing up with La Nuestra Fútbol Feminista in 2026!
1. Activities carried out during the last three months
During the last three months, La Nuestra Fútbol Feminista continued strengthening its sports, community, and territorial work.
One of the main challenges during this period was joining the LAAMBA League, a well-recognized and highly competitive football league. Participating in this space represents an important step forward for La Nuestra and, especially, for our players. Competing at this level allows them to face new challenges, gain experience, and develop their football skills. For girls and adolescents, it also represents an opportunity to grow as footballers and expand their possibilities within the sport.
We also began working together with Our Collective Practice, with the aim of strengthening networks, sharing experiences, and continuing to build spaces for collective gathering and resistance. In a complex social and political context, we believe it is essential to build alliances and sustain networks among organizations that share the commitment to creating collective alternatives.
In addition, we began working with the Ministry of Human Development of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires on workshops for adolescents focused on the prevention of problematic substance use. This new area of work allows us to create spaces for listening, dialogue, and reflection, addressing, from a community-based and preventive perspective, different situations affecting the adolescents who participate in La Nuestra.
2. Upcoming activities in the next three months
Over the coming months, we will continue holding meetings and exchanges with Our Collective Practice, deepening our collaborative work and strengthening networks of solidarity and collective resistance.
We will also continue the workshops for adolescents focused on the prevention of problematic substance use, seeking to consolidate these spaces as opportunities for listening, participation, care, and collective learning.
In addition, we will launch a new project with a team that we have already formed within La Nuestra, as part of our collaboration with Common Goal. The project will use football as a tool to promote social development, inclusion, equal opportunities, and the well-being of individuals and communities.
This new initiative represents an opportunity for La Nuestra to continue strengthening our capacities, expanding our networks, and deepening the social impact we create through feminist and community-based football.
3. Challenges that can be overcome with financial support
Our main challenge continues to be sustaining and expanding our work in an increasingly complex social and economic context. Participation in new competitions, the growth of our players, the development of community workshops and projects, and the strengthening of networks all require resources to sustain our teams, training spaces, and activities.
Financial support is essential to continue guaranteeing safe and inclusive sporting spaces, supporting the development of girls and adolescents, and using football as a tool for organization, care, and social transformation.
At the same time, we seek to strengthen our partnerships with other organizations and continue building networks that allow us to collectively sustain these spaces and expand their impact.
