We are all so very grateful for our incredible Shepherd's Table family! As we approach the end of the year, we are reminded of the wonderful people, businesses and organizations that are part of our family, who rally around us in a time of need, as we focus on doing what it takes to meet the needs of our guests.
We are moving to a new facility in less than a month, where we are increasing the food services program from 9 to 19 meals a week. Imagine the increased impact we will have for our meal guests! Imagine the new people that will learn about us, enjoy delicious and nutritious meals, and also access other services that will help them gain greater independence.
A big move comes with its challenges, and we are filled with gratitude for the individuals, volunteer groups, donors and supporters that have offered to help in small and big ways! We are leaning on our family to get us through this move, and excited to welcome them in the new building to serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunches! I find joy knowing that we will be here, together, with open arms, welcoming the hungry, the lonely, the folks needing help in accessing housing and social services and medical care, or clothing and eye care.
It is truly the gift of YOU, and the opportunity to pull together our resources, passion, skills and abilities, and our deep caring together that helps to make this community and every person’s life better.
With much gratitude for you,
