This project will provide daily meal to 120 underprivileged children in our education centers. Their parents work in hazardous jobs like wood cutting, bricks making, stone pinching, etc and paid less, and many at times their children sleep without food. This provision will improve their health status, regular attendance and make them good in their studies. CHI -SL strives to educate first generation children should reach higher studies.
These kids face malnutrition and stunted growth. Their parent's illiteracy, inefficiency and poverty drive to hazardous work with low wages. Most parents are not enjoying government welfare schemes because of frequent migration and illiteracy. Hunger cause poor needy children to go out throughout the day into the streets and market places in search of food to survive every day. CHI - SL realized the critical juncture and these children will be provided with daily meals and school supports.
This meal provision will encourage parents to send their children to school regularly. This poverty stricken children needs support and encouragement to access and stay in school. Healthy meals for these children will include rice, cone meal, fresh fruits, and boiled eggs in our centers that will improve the health status and educational standard of these underprivileged children.
CHI - SL needs donors and supporters to contribute monthly that will enable us to meet the need of our impoverished children continuously to reach their full academic potential, prepare for college, and in turn give their time and talents back to their communities. We will always partner with parents, teachers, and the community to address the health and education needs of our children in our rural communities.
