Undernutrition continues to be a major public health problem in Bangladesh, affecting a significant portion of the population, especially children. According to recent statistics, approximately 41% of Bangladeshi underprivileged children are underweight. This is a critical issue that demands immediate attention and action.
JAAGO Foundation has been working towards addressing this problem since 2007, by providing essential nutrition and education to underprivileged children in Bangladesh. Through its "Feed the Children" project, the foundation has been making a positive impact on the lives of thousands of children, giving them the opportunity to live healthier and more fulfilling life.
Providing a Basic Human Need
Nutrition is a basic human need, and it is essential for the physical and mental development of children. Undernourished children are more susceptible to diseases, have weaker immune systems, and face learning difficulties. The JAAGO Foundation recognizes the importance of nutrition and has made it a priority to provide daily meals to underprivileged children in Bangladesh.
The "Feed the Children" project provides wholesome meals, rich in essential nutrients, to children from underprivileged families. The foundation works with local communities and partners to ensure that meals are of high quality and culturally appropriate. By providing daily meals, the foundation is giving children the energy and strength they need to grow, learn, and lead healthier lives. Recently in January, hundreds of children received nutritious food in our Banani branch from Thrive, one of our partners .
Investing in the Future of Bangladesh
Investing in the future of Bangladesh's children is vital for the country's long-term development. The JAAGO Foundation understands this and has made it a priority to provide not only nutritious food but also quality education to underprivileged children. By providing these essential services, the foundation is empowering children to break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential.
Supporting the JAAGO Foundation
The "Feed the Children" project is making a positive impact on the lives of thousands of underprivileged children in Bangladesh, but it needs your support. Your generous donation can change a child's life forever. By giving these children access to nutritious food and education, you are investing in their future and helping them to break the cycle of poverty.
But we need your assistance to support the nutritional needs of our 4500 students. We ask you to contribute what you can to help feed these young children. Due to your contribution, you'll give them a chance to grow up healthy and be able to concentrate on their studies.
Thank You Note
We express our deepest gratitude to the donors who have always supported us by contributing to the welfare of underprivileged children in our Feed the children project. Thank you for unleashing the possibilities among these children and creating a world with easy access to safe health and education in the future as well.
Your support can help the foundation make a positive impact on the lives of even more children, giving them the opportunity to live healthier and more fulfilling lives.
