The covid pandemic has greatly affected the entire country as some businesses for example bars and cinema Halls are still closed.
During this reporting period our community was hit by covid 19 as some people tested positive. The affected people and their contacts had to be in home quarantine for a period of two weeks.
The organization supported the 3 people that tested positive to covid 19 to access medical treatment and balanced diet meals while in quarantine.
More so the contacts of all that tested positive were facilitated to test for covid 19. And while in home quarantine the organization supported them with food to supplement with the little they had.
Given the above intervention the disease was managed well and no new infections registered. This achievement is attributed to the support from the government health workers that worked closely with us to fight the deadly disease that was expected to be far away from our community.
