Community-based education programs, services to children with HIV/AIDS and orphans.The project will enable the Organization to provide food, medical care and school tuition to 600 orphans for a Year.
The local community is already burdened with supporting a troubled population. The Wakiso District of Kampala has one of the highest numbers of HIV/AIDS infected individuals, orphans and vulnerable children. School drop outs, early marriages and unwanted pregnancies, Many community members struggle to survive on one meal a day and make ends meet with less than $1 a day.
Activities will include HIV / AIDS prevention and care activities, subsistence education and care for orphans and vulnerable children. It give Our organization the ample time to raise more funds for permanent sustainability without stress.
The project will establish a solid foundation for the upcoming months, EDAPO will work to build a sustainable future for its programs through school fees from those able to provide them, and expansion of its fund raising activities.
