Meet Palesa, Age 10
Palesa is a bright 10-year-old girl living in a small informal dwelling with her grandmother and three younger cousins. Her mother passed away when she was very young, and her father has never been part of her life. They live in a struggling community in Soweto, where opportunities are few and hardship is common.
Palesa’s grandmother does her best to care for the children, but with no stable income, providing for the family is incredibly difficult.
Thanks to your kindness, Palesa has been welcomed into the Abraham Kriel Bambanani Community Services program.
Because of your donation, Palesa received a warm, nutritious meal today.
Because of you, she didn’t go to bed hungry.
Because of you, she could focus at school and continue dreaming about a brighter future.
