This project provides nutritious meals and food assistance to 64 orphan children aged 1-16 living at LEVE-MOI Orphanage in Kisangani, DR Congo. Donations help purchase rice, beans, vegetables, cooking oil, and other essential foods to ensure daily meals. By improving child nutrition and food security, we will reduce malnutrition, prevent hunger-related illnesses, and give vulnerable children the chance to grow, learn, and thrive.
At LEVE-MOI Orphanage in Kisangani, DR Congo, 64 orphan children depend on donated food for survival. Rising food prices and limited resources make it difficult to provide enough nutritious meals every day. Children aged 1-16 face risks of hunger, malnutrition, weakened immunity, illness, and poor school performance when food supplies run short. Immediate food assistance is needed to protect their health and well-being.
This project will provide daily nutritious meals for 64 orphan children living at LEVE-MOI Orphanage. Funds will be used to purchase staple foods such as rice, beans, vegetables, cooking oil, fish, and other nutritious ingredients. Regular meals will improve child nutrition, strengthen immunity, reduce hunger-related illnesses, and support healthy growth, learning, and emotional well-being throughout the year.
Consistent access to nutritious food helps children grow into healthier, stronger, and more productive adults. By reducing malnutrition and improving child health, this project supports better school attendance, learning outcomes, and future opportunities. Over time, these children can break cycles of poverty, contribute positively to their communities, and build more stable futures for themselves and the next generation in DR Congo.
