Last 18th September, we had a social work day where more than 40 volunteers from CENFOL Antioquia Organization took part on it, as a social service initiative for helping hundreds of families at the Comuna 13. It was held at Villa Laura Social Development Center located in Belencito neighborhood in Medellin.
General medical services, dental prophylaxis, haircut, psychology, garage sales, delivery of food baskets, food and entertaining for the children were the most important activities that these volunteers wanted to deliver to the whole community from this sector of the city.
Children had their own space, and they were able to have fun and learn about children sexual abuse prevention and get tools against this scourge in our city.
It was a time of lots of happiness for both, the volunteers and the ones receiving the benefits, a sensation of common gratitude was in the air during this beautiful work day with the community, in which the Fundación Tiempo de Paz left an imprint to keep on delivering hope to the most vulnerable children.
