Dear Donors,
A hungry child may struggle to concentrate, participate, learn, and enjoy the ordinary experiences of childhood.
This is why food insecurity is not only a food issue. It can affect education, wellbeing, protection, and a child's opportunity to develop.
Empower Future Initiative's emergency food assistance supports vulnerable households so that children can have greater access to food at home during difficult periods.
Our intervention focuses on practical assistance for families experiencing food insecurity, including displaced households, widow-headed homes, and other vulnerable families.
We are grateful to GlobalGiving donors who have helped EFI bring food relief to communities facing hardship.
But there are many children whose families still need assistance.
We invite donors to support the continuation and expansion of emergency food relief. Your contribution can help provide food to a household and reduce one of the pressures that can interfere with a child's education and wellbeing.
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn without hunger becoming an additional barrier.
Best wishes,
Empower Future Initiative Team
