Dear Partners,
Empower Future Initiative has moved one step closer to launching our emergency food distribution for vulnerable families in Karu Local Government Area, Nasarawa State. After completing the needs assessment, we also conducted a market feasibility review to confirm the availability, cost, and supply options for essential food items.
We are glad to report that suppliers are ready. This means that once funding reaches us, we can begin procurement and move quickly into distribution. The first phase will target 20 vulnerable families facing acute hunger in a remote underserved community where the need is already urgent.
This preparation is important because food relief must be timely, organized, and accountable. Families facing hunger cannot wait for long processes after funds arrive. By preparing early, we are reducing delays and ensuring that support can reach households as quickly as possible.
We invite more friends, donors, and partners to stand with us. Your support will help us begin and expand this relief effort.
Best wishes,
Empower Future Initiative Team
