Across northern Nigeria, many children are facing hunger, poor nutrition, and uncertainty because their families cannot consistently access enough food. This situation threatens their health, school attendance, emotional well-being, and future opportunities.
Hunger can weaken a child’s immune system, reduce concentration in school, and increase the risk of malnutrition. For families already facing poverty, displacement, rising food prices, and economic hardship, emergency food assistance is often the difference between survival and deeper crisis.
