Across northern Nigeria, millions of children wake each day uncertain whether they will have enough food to eat. For many families facing extreme poverty, displacement, and insecurity, providing regular nutritious meals has become increasingly difficult. Hunger is affecting children's health, education, and future opportunities.
A child who receives adequate nutrition is more likely to attend school, stay healthy, and develop the skills needed to break the cycle of poverty. Yet food insecurity continues to place these opportunities out of reach for many vulnerable children.
Empower Future Initiative is working to change this reality by providing emergency food assistance and nutrition support to families facing acute hunger. Through this project, we aim to ensure that children receive the nourishment they need to grow and thrive.
