Dear Supporters,
Nigeria is currently facing one of the largest hunger emergencies in the world. Humanitarian assessments indicate that approximately 35 million people are expected to experience acute food insecurity during the lean season. Across many communities in northern Nigeria, families are struggling to afford basic food items as prices continue to rise and livelihoods remain disrupted by insecurity, displacement, and economic hardship.
For many parents, the daily challenge is no longer about providing nutritious meals but simply finding enough food to survive. Children are among the hardest hit, with millions at risk of malnutrition and related health complications. The consequences of prolonged hunger extend beyond physical health, affecting education, livelihoods, and long-term community development.
At Empower Future Initiative, we are working to provide emergency food assistance, nutrition support, and community-based relief to vulnerable households. Our goal is to ensure that struggling families receive life-saving support during this critical period.
Your generosity makes this work possible. Every donation helps provide meals, restore dignity, and offer hope to families facing unimaginable challenges.
Thank you for standing with us in the fight against hunger.
