How does a family begin again after conflict changes everything?
There is no simple answer.
Recovery can mean rebuilding a livelihood, finding somewhere safe to stay, caring for children, mourning loved ones, restoring relationships, and finding the courage to imagine a future beyond what happened.
For conflict-affected families in Otukpo-Nobi, that journey has already begun. And we believe they should not have to make it alone.
Through the generosity of GlobalGiving donors, GoGreen recently provided food assistance to 25 vulnerable households, with each receiving a 25kg bag of rice. The families expressed gratitude for the support.
Yet for us, this distribution was not simply about handing over food. It was about standing beside people during a difficult chapter of their lives and saying:
We see you.
Your dignity matters.
Your recovery matters.
You have not been forgotten.
There are many more families we want to reach.
Every additional donation strengthens our ability to respond with practical assistance and allows another household to experience the solidarity that GlobalGiving donors made possible in Otukpo-Nobi.
We cannot change what these families have already endured.
But together, we can become part of what happens next.
Please help another family begin again.
