Imagine losing the security of your home and, soon afterward, having to worry about how you will feed your children. For many families affected by conflict, displacement creates exactly this kind of uncertainty.
In Otukpo-Nobi, families have recently faced violence that has disrupted their lives and livelihoods. Behind every household affected is a story of loss—but also a determination to recover.
During our recent food distribution, GoGreen reached 25 vulnerable households with 25kg bags of rice, made possible through donations received via GlobalGiving.
For approximately 125 people, donor generosity provided something immediate and practical: food. But it also provided something less visible. Hope.
Hope that their suffering has not gone unnoticed.
Hope that people beyond their community care.
Hope that even after violence, rebuilding is possible.
This is why your donation matters.
When you give to this project, your contribution joins those of other compassionate donors to help us purchase and distribute food to families whose livelihoods have been disrupted by conflict.
There are still families we have not reached.
There are still parents wondering how they will provide the next meal.
And there is still an opportunity for all of us to make a difference.
You may never meet the family your donation helps. But they can experience the impact of your kindness.
Please help us put food—and hope—back on another family's table.
