This week, August 3, 2026 the GoGreen team visited the Otukpo-Nobi community in Benue State as part of our ongoing Feed Displaced Families in Benue, Nigeria initiative. Our assessment revealed extensive devastation from recent violence—homes had been damaged and burned, and families have lost property, food supplies, and their means of livelihood.
Many residents, once self-sufficient, now face deep uncertainty about their future, struggling to secure daily meals and basic necessities. Each destroyed home is a reminder of families whose lives and dreams have been upended.
In response, GoGreen is prioritizing the provision of emergency food, safe water, hygiene supplies, blankets, sleeping mats, dignity kits, and other essential relief items for displaced and conflict-affected households.
We are deeply grateful to those who have already contributed to this project—your support is making a real difference. However, as the crisis continues, the needs are growing.
We urge you to consider supporting this vital project once again or to share our mission with others who can help. Together, we can ensure that families fleeing violence in Benue are not left to face hunger and displacement alone.
