Imagine watching your child cry from hunger, knowing there is nothing left to feed them.
For thousands of families living in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Benue State, Nigeria, this is not imagination—it is their daily reality. Once self-reliant farmers who produced food for millions, they have lost their homes, farms, livestock, and livelihoods because of recurring violent conflict. Today, many depend entirely on humanitarian assistance to survive.
Since December 2025, GoGreen Environmental Health Sustainability Initiatives has been standing alongside these vulnerable families, providing emergency food assistance and other lifesaving support. Every food package distributed represents more than nourishment—it brings comfort to a frightened child, relief to an anxious parent, and hope to a family struggling to rebuild their lives.
Yet the humanitarian need continues to grow.
The United Nations warns that nearly 35 million people in Nigeria are expected to face acute food insecurity during the 2026 lean season, driven by conflict, displacement, climate shocks, and rising food prices. At the same time, humanitarian agencies are facing severe funding shortages, leaving many vulnerable families without the support they desperately need.
Your generosity today can change that.
Whether you provide one meal or support several families, your donation will help ensure that children do not go to bed hungry, mothers regain hope, and displaced families receive the dignity they deserve during one of the most difficult periods of their lives.
Together, we can remind these families that they have not been forgotten.
