Dear Friends,
The Global Giving Challenge sponsored by Bonterra Organic Winery and Growing Power was an amazing success! Feed Denver raised over $10,000 and won both second prizes - for second highest $$ and second highest number of donors - thus winning another $4,000. Thank you to all of you who donated to our efforts to develop year round farming practices in the City of Denver.
As our daylight hours shorten and our temperatures drop (at least they are supposed to drop! 80 degrees on November 6th?) the Feed Denver teams are working hard:
Although our mission is to farm year-round we still operate with respect for seasons. As Autumn transitions into Winter we are turning inward to strengthen the energy at our roots. We are opening our hearts and minds to our hopes and dreams, engaging our creativity to envision our path, and drawing our energy inside to not only survive the winter but to meet Spring with increased vigor and enthusiasm.
Thank you again for your support during this campaign. Please keep us in mind during the holidays. Visit our website: www.FeedDenver.com and follow us on FaceBook: www.facebook.com/feeddenver.
Warm autumn blessings,
Lisa Rogers
