Feed and Support Poor Hungry Widows in Nigeria

‎Thank you so much for your generous donation to Feed and Support Poor Hungry Widows in Nigeria. Your unwavering support has made a significant impact in the lives of four widows facing the harsh realities of hunger and poverty.

‎On December 21 being Sunday, we were able to provide a substantial financial support to four indigent widows, who were selected across Nnewi, in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. The widows were supposed to be five but the fifth person couldn't make it and will join by the next time this support comes up again. The women were very happy to have received this support and prayed that God will bless you in all your endeavors.

‎December 29 will make it two years that this project received a donation last, if not for the $1 it received recently. It was the donation we received from a supporter in another platform plus the $1 we received on GlobalGiving, that we used in executing this project. Even though we haven't received all the donated funds from the platform, we had to use our own money to make it up in order to make sure that we deliver on this project before the year runs out.

‎Our initial plan was to buy food items and share to these women, while giving them money too, but because the festive season is already close and knowing that these women might have bought some items, we felt it's better to give them cash, so they can use it to get other things they need and take care of themselves and their children.

‎Our priority is to help these women start up businesses or grow the ones that they're already into, so that they can be able to take good care of themselves and their children. The four women who were supported are all petty traders and one even had to leave a viable business that she was doing while the husband was alive, as a result of lack of funds now.
‎
‎Please know that your support has not only filled empty stomachs, but has also filled hearts with gratitude and optimism. We look forward to supporting these women and more, as the project continues to receive more donations.
‎
