Building Brighter Futures: Updates on Scholarships

We are delighted to share an update on our Scholarship Program in collaboration with our local partner, the Quang Tri Association for Learning Promotion.

Thanks to you and other generous supporters, 243 students in Quang Tri were recipients of the PeaceTrees Vietnam Scholarship for the academic year 2023-2024, including 20 in Primary School, 91 in Middle School, 80 in High School, and 52 in University. These scholarships help female ethnic minority children, children who have been impacted by an explosive ordnance accident or are living with a disability, and children experiencing financial hardships. To enhance students' access to better educational opportunities, PeaceTrees continues to support recipients from previous years who still require assistance. This achievement is a testament to the collective impact we can make in fostering education and empowering the future generation.

This October, we organized award ceremonies at three locations - Dong Ha, Dakrong, and Huong Hoa, dedicated to students ranging from primary to high school levels. Additionally, each student received 10 EORE notebooks, providing essential tools for their educational journey.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continuous support of PeaceTrees Vietnam. Your generosity is truly making a meaningful impact in restoring both land and lives affected by the remnants of war. Your contributions are instrumental in creating better opportunities for children in places like Quang Tri Province. We deeply appreciate your involvement in our mission – it wouldn't be possible without you!
