Getting Ready for the New School Year

As Autumn draws near, we want to provide you with another update on our scholarship and kindergarten initiatives. To kick things off, our Citizen Diplomacy travelers had a wonderful opportunity in May to dedicate the newly established Cup Kindergarten. This celebration brought together the Cup Village community, and we eagerly anticipate the educational journey that will take place within its walls.

Our scholarship program is still going strong, with a new round of scholarships expected to be awarded this Fall. These scholarships will help female ethnic minority children, children who have been impacted by an explosive ordnance accident or are living with a disability, and children experiencing financial hardships. Thanks to you, PeaceTrees was able to distribute 316 scholarships to students in Quang Tri and Quang Bình Province last year. A gift of just $100 allows us to provide a primary student with tuition and supplies for an entire school year!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering dedication and backing of PeaceTrees Vietnam. Your generosity remains instrumental in the restoration of lands and lives impacted by the remnants of war. With your valued contributions, we can further extend our reach in advancing kindergarten programs and creating opportunities for children throughout Quang Tri and Quang Binh Province. Thank you for making our mission possible!
