It was a great moment for children to interact with other children from other countries. On 7th to 12th December 2013 was a memorable moment for the children from Juhudi Children In Crisis (JCIC) as they participated in the streetfootballworld East Africa festival that was held at Kitale Kenya. Through our partner organization TYSA, JCIC received an invitation to participate in this great event. Young people from Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, S. Sudan and Kenya participated. Children shared their different experiences, cultures and discussed more on the issues that affect children in either of the areas and countries that they come from. "Let me say that am very happy meeting many children playing together and sharing about our home. I have made friends from Iringa Tanzania and they are very great! I have never moved out of my village. I never thought that I will one day meet with people from other countries and eat together. Am very thankful for JCIC for supporting children like me" Andrew Nyakundi
