With COVID19 still at large and unleashing mayhem on the economic survival of the majority. The Rural economically disadvantaged populations are more affected.

Olaitan is a 3 year old female child who lost her mother to a brief Illness in early 2020. Her care has since been taken up by her aunt who is a sewing mistress and petty trader. Goings have been tough for the family as their daily menu has not been totally dependent on  quality but the available, due to inflation resulting from COVID19 pandemic. For a growing child like Olaitan, daily menu should be based on quality food enriched with nourishing nutrients. Interestingly, Oak Rural Health Organization make huge impact with as little as $10. With this, we are able to provide a month supply of iron fortified cereals, eggs and diary, which together can give more than 70% of the child's daily nutrients requirement. This helps to build body immunity against diseases and enhance adequate growth and development of the brain and other tissues.

Feeding a rural child with adequate nutrients which help them to grow up and become adults that contribute meaningfully in the society, is one of our priorities in a time when lost of purchasing power has drastically affected families' food supply. Donating as little as $10 helps us with an uninterrupted supply of nourishments monthly to this poor child. Donating more to this project will replicate same to other vulnerable children within the locality. You will be proud of putting nourishing foods on their table and giving hope for the future.
